Applications are invited for the post of Library Assistant(Two posts), in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4200. Minimum qualifications, experience and age: Master’s degree in Library science/Information science/ Documentation or ADIS / M.S. Library / Information Science (DRTC) or AIS (INSDOC/NISCAIR) with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with good academic record. Minimum experience of 1 year in a computerized library environment in a reputed academic/research institution/library. Age below 28 years. Applicants should have experience of working on Linux, PHP, MySQL, Standard RDBMS, digital library software, CSS, Content Management Systems (CMS) and have the ability to work independently on library related open source software. Zend - PHP and RHCE certification will be added advantage.
