The Global Data Lab (GDL) is an independent research center based at the Nijmegen School of Management of Radboud University in the Netherlands. It focuses on creating subnational development indicators to analyze socioeconomic, health, and demographic trends, especially in low- and middle-income countries. GDL leverages data from over 600 household surveys to generate a wide range of indicators like education levels, child mortality, and wealth indices. A major feature of GDL is the GDL Area Database, which includes 77 indicators covering 1024 subnational regions across 103 countries. This database enables the tracking of various development metrics over time, including education, fertility, wealth, poverty, and health-related indicators like vaccination coverage and stunting in children...
