It does from lenses of (a) farm-size and productivity (b) sustainable resource (water) use and (c) climate change. Set against the backdrop of a structural transformation within agriculture\, the review suggests that there are large gaps in our understanding of the extent of technical change in several sectors\, their implications for labour and other factor productivity\, and\, in turn\, for sustainable and resilient livelihoods.
