Title: Institutional Genesis of Market Integration and Trade

Abstract: The purpose of this study is twofold: first to propose a trade general equilibrium model in which the institution is modeled within the framework of domestic market concentration, and second, to empirically test our theoretical findings on the optimizing integration strategies by firms in response to the institution (or changes therein) of its host country.
